Scratch is really for beginners because all you have to is drag the blocks to create animations like making the little cat move a few steps or it moving it in a circle. or for more advanced users you can make a little PacMan game.

But if you want to properly code I would recommend using a coding language called Python. It is pretty easy to learn to but will still probably take a couple of months.
